Welcome to the website of the folk ensemble Dolina from Staré Město
Established in 1956, Dolina is a folk song and dance ensemble located in one of the Czech regions which most values and celebrates folk traditions. This region is renowned for its natural beauty, fertile land, the hospitality of its inhabitants, their folk songs, dance, customs and traditions. It is no wonder that it is here that Dolina finds endless inspiration for its activities; for the noble entertainment of its members and their audience. Not only does Dolina bring pleasure and happiness into its hometown Staré Město, but the ensemble frequently gives performances of its slow and temperamental dances, songs and colourful folk costumes throughout the Czech Republic.
